I won! I won!

Okay, so you have to know that I never win anything! But, I WON! Author, Lauren Willig, posted a contest at her blog, and I WON an advance copy of her newest book The Seduction of the Crimson Rose! Lauren is a great new author who writes a series which is a spin off of The Scarlet Pimpernel which starts with The Secret History of the Pink Carnation. Her writing is witty and her plots are engaging; I often find myself laughing out loud as I read. I can’t wait to read this newest installment of her series. I hope to get to it over Christmas Break, but for now, it’s off to grade papers since I’ve been given the gift of a snow day to catch up. I’ll write a post about my prize when I finish it! :-)
